Successful Network Marketing Tip Of The Day – Part Four

Successful network marketing takes time and commitment.  Today we will be discussing two concepts that really go hand in hand; branding and providing value.  Appear unrelated?  Then keep reading.  Welcome to tip number four!

Most of the ads on television are all about branding.  Nike’s quote, “Just do it.”  Allstate asks, “Are you in good hands?”  Recognize either of these?  Probably both.

And that’s the whole idea.  It’s what branding is all about.  Being quickly recognized.  Having an idea, image or phrase attached to our name.  You don’t even have to come up with a catchy name or phrase.  Quite a few people just use their own name.  You, inc.  It works.  But that’s not all there is to branding.

You see, in both of those examples the idea is not just to brand a catchy phrase or question.  They are attaching themselves to an idea of value.  What does the phrase “Just do it” really mean?  It may mean something different for you than it does for me.  But here’s the catch.  It has some meaning.  A meaning that for many people is fairly profound.  Sure, it’s a simple statement.  But it’s a powerful message.  Forget your fear and “just do it”.  Go out and “just do it”.  Take control of your life and “just do it”.  Be who you want to be.  We will help.

When you brand yourself as someone who provides value things take on a whole new meaning.  Instead of trying to track clients they will track you down.  People will seek you out for what they need.  People will see you as an expert and somebody with solutions.

Successful network marketing is really just a frame of mind.  Think about this for a moment.  A business that doesn’t provide value doesn’t do business.  It only makes sense and yet too many people do the opposite.  Place yourself in your prospect’s shoes.  Instead of trying to simply sell them some product or service, try to provide solutions to their problems.  Focus on enriching the lives of those around you.  Give without want.  This is what attraction marketing is about.  You become attractive because you are a solution or someone of value.

So, what’s the message here?  Is it that we need to concentrate on branding ourselves?  Or is it that we need to provide value?  It’s both of these.  You brand yourself by providing value.  How do you do just that?  Let’s turn to Nike for that answer to that one.  Just do it!  There are many ways to brand yourself as an expert, as someone of value.  Join some forums relating to your field or niche and start participating in the discussions.  Become part of a questions and answers website and start imparting that knowledge.  Write an article on, oh, successful network marketing.  Go out there and “just do it!”

The bottom line is to make yourself known as somebody that provides value to others.  By providing answers you won’t need to find people with questions, they will find you.  When your goal is simply to help, the world will open up to you.  Give without want and you will get without need.

Take that message to heart.  Keep it as your mantra.  Your business motto.  Your mode of operation.  Give without want.

Successful Network Marketing Tip Of The Day – Part Five

There is a lot of noise on the internet today.  Building a successful network marketing business can be downright confusing.  To find success this final piece of the puzzle is something that cannot be ignored.  Welcome to tip number five!

We briefly mentioned this in the first part of this series.  But first, let’s take a moment to review what we have learned.  We learned why training is so important.  Would you let a doctor work on your brain with no previous training?  Of course not, and network marketing is no different.  We discussed how to avoid burnout.  The importance of focusing your energies on just a few marketing strategies before moving on.  We talked about how everything you do is a conversation with the search engines and why keywords are important.  Finally, we talked about branding yourself as a person with solutions and not just a sales person.

That brings us to the final piece of your network marketing puzzle.  Once again, this is a very simple concept.  The more you learn about me the more you will see how much I like simple things.  You’ve heard me say this before, but I’ll say it again.  It’s the simple things in life that are often the most profound.  It’s usually the little things that can make or break you.  You will find in my training that I like to keep things step by step.  I try to make sure you don’t suffer burnout.  My grandmother always says that you have to learn to walk before you can run.  Have you ever seen a toddler try to run before they can walk?  The results are usually pretty fun to watch, if not altogether disastrous.

Being consistent in your actions.  That’s the final piece of this network marketing puzzle.  You’ve learned how to market effectively and you’ve made a marketing plan.  You picked a few areas to focus on and you focus on them like a laser beam.  Now you must stay consistent.  And there will be days when you don’t feel like doing anything at all.  It’s cold outside this morning.  But it’s warm under the covers.  That alarm went off and there was only one thing I wanted to do.  Roll over and go back to sleep.

But there is one thing your successful network marketing business cannot do without and that is you.  You are the only one that can hold it all together.  Nothing will happen if you don’t take action every single day.  Anthony Robbins said that in order to get massive results you need massive action.  That is too true.

Now, you might have only a few hours of laser focused action that you take every day.  And that’s alright.  We need time to relax and enjoy ourselves.  What good is a successful network marketing business if you don’t have time to relax?  But you can only build that business if you take the necessary action every day.

Get the marketing training that you need.  Make your marketing plan.  Decide on how you are going to grow your business.  And then take those steps every single day.  Being your own boss involves just that, being your own boss.  Making your schedule and then sticking to it.  Finding the motivation to do the things you need to do even when you don’t feel like doing them.  Only by staying consistent will you build a successful network marketing business.  But more importantly, by staying consistent will you have more time to do the things you love and lead the kind of life you want.

Successful Network Marketing Tip Of The Day – Part One

Despite what you may have been told, successful network marketing doesn’t have to be hard.  The difference between those who succeed and those who don’t lay in some basic concepts.  For the next few days we will be looking at 5 principles to make your network marketing business a success.

Today’s concept is definitely my favorite.  Believe me, it didn’t begin that way.  In the beginning I was so caught up in all the hype that I ignored this one simple ingredient.  It cost me years of struggle.  To save you from the same struggle I’m going to lay it on the line.

So, do you really want to succeed in network marketing?  I know you do.  It’s why the title of this article caught your attention.  By reading this you at least have an idea of what you need.  But maybe you’re just looking for a shortcut.  Are there shortcuts to success?  You bet there are.

Let’s face it, building a successful network marketing business takes time.  Answer me this.  What do solid buildings start off with?  The Christian Bible tells a story every new business person should come to know.  Perhaps you’ve heard it.  Here is part of it: “The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”  Does it sound familiar?  What do solid buildings start off with?  That’s it, a foundation.

Training is our network marketing foundation.  But training is not enough.  Would you ask a poor man for financial advice?  Would you seek tutoring from a failing student?  Would you ask a mechanic to rebuild your computer?  Definitely not, yet many times that’s what we do in the network marketing business.

There is a great deal of information out there.  Information is important.  Many businesses require you to get constant training to keep your license.  Often this training is mandatory.  And network marketing is really no different.  Continued training is a must have.  There will never be a point when you know everything.  Things change so very rapidly.

So, this is the ultimate tip.  That’s why I decided to make it number one.  To get the best information you need to go to the source.  Successful network marketers.  Find those successful network marketers and do what they do.  Ask them for help.  Watch all of their videos.  Subscribe to their newsletters.  Find them on Twitter and watch their every move.  That is how you will find success.

This is your starting point.  This is how you start a solid foundation.  This is where you can find your direction.  Do you want to be a successful network marketer?  Then don’t ever stop learning.  Then never stop your training.  Don’t ever stop (that is a tip for another article).
