Getting Your Brand Out at a Conference

Advertising is one of the best ways to get yourself new customers, after all, and there’s no better place to target people than in a group where your brand name can be seen, discussed and noted.
How can you ensure that people are going to spot your brand, especially if there are other companies vying for attention as well? It’s simple, really – just get your brand out there, onto their notepaper, into their hands and in places where it’s hard to ignore.
One of the best ways to make sure people pay attention to your brand is to put it in places they are guaranteed to look. For example, provide attendees of the conference with free notepads and pens – all branded with your company name. That way, every clean page they turn to will proudly display your brand, and every time they pick up the pen to write with, they’ll be reminded of your company and its various products.
Conferences are also excellent ways to advertise due to their nature of having many people focussing on one thing. If it’s a panel of speakers sitting at a table before the attendees, you can put posters for your brand below the table so it will be impossible to ignore it every time the delegates look at the speakers as they are talking. Or, similarly, if a slide show or PowerPoint presentation is involved, you can use the slides – cellophane or electronic – as canvasses to add your brand to. It doesn’t have to be glaring; just a subtle logo in the corner of the slide is enough to make sure your voice is heard.
Finally, make the most of people’s general pleasure at receiving free gifts and ply the conference attendees with branded gifts. These could include pens, badges, stickers, mouse pads and myriad other bits and pieces – including the popular branded bag – that most people won’t say no to accepting. Then you’ll be able to sit back and relax as, the next time a delegate needs to find a pen at home and discovers yours, you are one step closer to gaining new customers.
Promotional products are a fantastic way to get your name out there and could end with fantastic results, so stock up on those branded pens and notepaper and get set to make some gains.
