In fact it is common for many online marketers to always be exploring new niche markets in order to spread their risks and increase their income. With that said developing multiple niche markets gives you the opportunity to create multiple streams of income while decreasing the amount of competition you face.</p>
<p>Here are 3 relatively simple and quick ways to determine if your niche is a good fit for you and has the income potential you want.<br /><strong><br />Develop Ideas</strong></p>
<p>It is suggested to do a little brainstorming and list out all the things you may have an interest in to help you develop ideas for your niche. Your selection ideally but not necessarily will be based upon something you have a passion for. Marketing on the internet involves lots of time and effort but if you are passionate about what you do it will make everything easier.<br /><strong><br />Infiltrate Your Target Market</strong></p>
<p>Once you have selected your niche seek out locations online such as forums or perhaps social sites to intermingle with prospective customers you are targeting. Find out what is on their mind and determine their most pressing &#8216;wants&#8217; or &#8216;problems&#8217; relative to any niche markets you may be exploring. It will be at this point where you will begin to determine what type product or service should be found or developed for your marketing purposes. Only by listening to your (potential) customer base will you begin to understand their needs.<br /><strong><br />Check for Demand and Profitability <br /></strong><br />Now that you have &#8216;narrowed&#8217; down product type(s) that can or should be offered for your niche selection it is time to determine profitability. Using online search engines and a reliable keyword tool you can now begin your keyword research.</p>
<p>First develop a keyword list that is relevant to your product ideas and niche. Without making this complicated simply because it really is not you want to first check for demand. This is determined by the number of searches a particular word generates monthly and can be found by using a keyword research tool.</p>
<p>Doing your keyword research I suggest using the free Google keyword tool for now since it will suffice for what you are doing here.</p>
<p>After determining the strength of demand for your keywords do an internet search using the same keywords. Examine your search results and pay close attention to the number of &#8216;paid&#8217; ads that show up which will be found on the right hand side of your search results page. Simply stated if people are willing to pay for advertising the market is probably profitable.</p>
<p>Bingo you have now found your niche!</p>
<p>Being able to develop new niche ideas is a great way to diversify your income opportunities when marketing on the internet. Exploring niche markets for their income potential is an important first step however before investing your full time marketing efforts. <p>1. They don&#8217;t create a product their ideal clients actually want. This can manifest itself in several ways. Here are a few of the big ones &#8211;</p>
<p> </p>
<p>* Your ideal clients NEED this product, never mind that they don&#8217;t actually WANT it. Case in point &#8212; how many of you say to yourself on a regular basis &#8220;I really need to exercise more.&#8221; And how many of you are rushing off to hire a personal trainer to force yourself to exercise more. Or take out spending money altogether &#8212; how many of you are simply shifting your daily schedule around so you DO start exercising more? Or how many of you say &#8220;I really need to floss regularly.&#8221; How&#8217;s that flossing going?</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Yeah, you get the picture. Need and want are two entirely different things. We buy what they want and then we justify the purchase by saying we need it. We don&#8217;t buy what we need only what we want.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>* You&#8217;ve created the wrong product for the wrong market. This happens more frequently than you might imagine. You have a great idea, but you&#8217;re trying to match it to a client base that has little or no interest in it. There&#8217;s a mismatch. Luckily, this one can be (relatively) easily fixed &#8212; find your right ideal clients who DO want your product, tweak your product to fit that client base and all is well.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>* You&#8217;re writing it for you &#8212; NOT for your ideal clients. This happens mainly with authors who are writing books. Now there&#8217;s nothing really wrong with this &#8212; it&#8217;s your vision/message/brilliance you&#8217;re writing about. And sometimes this can turn into a massive success. But not always. Your ideal clients may either not be ready for it or you&#8217;re selling to the wrong ideal clients or you haven&#8217;t educated your ideal clients enough for them to realize they need it. (Or want it, as the case may be.)</p>
<p> </p>
<p>There&#8217;s nothing wrong with crafting a book or a product that&#8217;s a labor of love. I&#8217;m a writer too. You just need to understand that labors of love don&#8217;t always translate into immediate cash or overnight success stories.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>2. You don&#8217;t package your idea in a way your ideal clients want to purchase and consume it. This manifests itself in 2 ways:</p>
<p> </p>
<p>* You write an ebook and your ideal clients hate to read. Or you force them to watch hours of videos and they really don&#8217;t want to watch videos, they&#8217;d rather listen to audio or read but you don&#8217;t give them that option.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter how much your ideal clients want the information, if they aren&#8217;t comfortable with how you&#8217;re presenting they won&#8217;t buy or if they do buy, they won&#8217;t be happy.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>* Your ideal clients are interested in the idea, but you&#8217;re going about it all wrong. For instance, you&#8217;re a sales trainer and you teach very high pressure close methods to a client base that&#8217;s uncomfortable with that technique. Or you want to teach &#8220;how to&#8221; to a group of people who really just would prefer to hire you to do it for them. If this is what&#8217;s going on with you, you may be perplexed why your sales are so sluggish when you KNOW your ideal clients are interested in what you sell. (Note, it also could be your selling methods, which we&#8217;ll talk about next week.)</p>
<p> </p>
<p>3. You&#8217;ve taken WAY too long to complete your info-product. If you&#8217;ve been working on an info-product for longer than 6 months, this is you. You need to get it done and get it out there. The longer it takes you to complete it the more likely it is that someone else will bring your idea to market before you do. If this is you, set aside time THIS WEEKEND and map out how you&#8217;re going to finish your info-product. And besides, every day you don&#8217;t have it done is another day you can&#8217;t be selling it.</p>

<p>Most of us, sometime in our past, have had a strong desire, to own your own business. Building a profitable business is going to take a lot of time and effort. You just can&#8217;t wave a magic wand, and all of a sudden, your in business. It&#8217;s going to take some planning, hard work, dedication and stamina to accomplish your goals.</p>
<p>You can start out, by acquiring some free programs, that will help you get off to a good start. However, as time goes by, you may want to step up the pace a bit, and purchase some affordable marketing programs that will help you get the job done much quicker. It&#8217;s your business, it&#8217;s your choice. You&#8217;re building a future here, for you and your family. You are in control of your destiny.</p>
<p>You will want to build some form of a web site, explaining exactly what your business opportunity is all about. Make your site informative, but keep it simple. Make sure you inform the consumers exactly what your services are all about, and how it will benefit the user. Avoid the use of technical terminologies, and write about your product or services in the language that a potential user can easily understand. Include the benefits to the user in the first couple of paragraphs of your site. You only have a small window of opportunity here to capture the interest of the potential client.</p>
<p>Once you get your site built, then comes the never ending chore of promoting your business. You are the public relations expert of your company. Whenever, and whatever you are writing about, whether in an article, e-mail, ezine etc., make sure you do a good proof read before you publish your materials. Bad grammar and incorrect spelling, can be a killer to your success, so proof read your writings, several times if necessary. The whole concept here is about letting the world know about your opportunity, and giving the reader the information to make an informed decision about you and/or your product or services.</p>
<p>You must keep the consumer informed, with updates about your opportunity. A news letter may be your method of choice to keep your viewers informed. What ever methods that works for you and your business is acceptable. It&#8217;s your business, so cultivate your opportunity in various ways, and you will come up with the most practical methods of communication with your clients, rather quickly.</p>
<p>Blogging is an excellent way to keep the public informed. Writing one or two blogs a year really won&#8217;t help much. However, if you are consistently writing articles, posting blogs, submitting to ezines, forums etc., your going to see results in a very short time. Posting to multiple blogs is an excellent way to promote. Title your blogs with keyword specific titles about your various products, and post to numerous blogs on a daily basis. I personally post to 47 blogs everyday. What a powerful way to get name recognition, and promote your opportunity to the masses.</p>
<p>Anytime you add new content your your web site, post a blog, submit a new article make sure you hand index your URL&#8217;s to the Google, Yahoo and Bing search engines. Use article directory, link directories and submission services to your advantage. The broader your posting to this type of services, the more exposure your going to generate with the search engines.</p>
<p>When writing, always use your signature information so the reader can contact you at their convenience. Make sure your name, web site address, phone number, e-mail and any other contact information is listed at the end of each of your writings, or communications to the potential clients, such as in a newsletter.</p>
<p>Many online businesses use the social networking sites to their advantage for marketing. You can search on line for various networking sites and if you feel any of these can be incorporated into your marketing strategies, go for it. The point here is very clear, use any and all methods of promoting your self and your business when your building your business.</p>

Their latest product is called &#8220;List Control&#8221; and has as of now hit the market. So what is list control all about, and will this product be the next &#8220;number one hit&#8221; from these stars of Internet marketing?</p>
<p>We all know who they are, Internet marketing would not be Internet marketing without the likes of Frank Kern and Trey Smith. These gentlemen have been the leaders in the industry for as long as the industry has been around. The latest of the products that they offer is called List Control in a 4 module series, and it does have some compelling ad copy that just sucks you in. The product is going to be in depth on not only building your list of clients and customers, but how to maintain that list and keeping them happy and purchasing your products and opportunities online continually.</p>
<p>For the first time however, Frank Kern will give out a couple secrets on how he comes up with the &#8220;killer&#8221; ad copy to grab the attention of the viewer and hopefully keep it. Other trainings involved will consist of marketing strategies on free advertising platforms. As far as Internet marketers that have already found success, these free platforms are great, and for the newbie who is low on funds these are great for gathering much needed traffic quickly. List Control does come at a low cost and will be considered the latest and greatest program from which there will be much information to glean.</p>
<p>This is a product review however, and as a successful Internet entrepreneur I will offer this. There are many products everyday that are launched online and packed with new…or updated information on Internet marketing. These programs will cost and if this is only the latest and greatest training there are still no guarantees that it or they will work for you so due your due diligence before your purchase. The issue of a single program I found was a factor for my decision to opt for a continuing style of training in Internet marketing. I  wanted to cut down the cost of buying one new program after the other. Considering the cost over the long haul, training that was added to at no more cost seemed drastically less than continually upgrading.</p>
<p>Frank Kern does know his stuff, and anyone in the world of Internet marketing would love to sit down and pick his brain for an hour. List Control does seem to offer a good deal of training in the list building aspect of Internet marketing and for some already in his program, this could be a good addition to the knowledge base that Frank and Trey have built.</p>

<p>Can social media sites <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="a href">http://www.anthonymora.com</a>&#8220;target=&#8221;_blank&#8221;&gt;develop business models that can generate even a fraction of the billions that Google is racking in?  To this point the answer is a resounding no.  Sites such as Facbook and Twitter are growing at an astounding rate, but are they primarily relationship sites, or will they turn into marketing and business building powerhouses?</p>
<p>There are those who insist that MySpace is yesterday&#8217;s news and that Facebook and Twitter are basically fads that will soon be seen, as far as marketing is concerned, as interesting but failed experiments.   According to this reasoning, these sites will remain as vehicles for social interactions, but when it comes to helping build businesses or generating ROI, they will be seen as monumental failures.</p>
<p>Google has more than proven its ROI capabilities.  Adwords alone is reported to generate up to 95% of its revenue stream, which is more like an ocean.  But unlike Google, which serves as a basic (if the term basic can ever be applicable when describing Google) search engine, Facbook, Twitter and other social media sites have markedly different formats and face very different marketing challenges.  Originally developed for friends and acquaintances to interact, the posting and images on social media sites can often be confrontational, controversial and at times obscene.  Therein lies the marketing problem; do companies want to take the risk of having their messages, ads and brand equity positioned next to such possible loose canons?  Does a chain that sells children&#8217;s clothing want to risk having its ad positioned next to a sexually explicit post?</p>
<p>Add to that the question of user&#8217;s perceptions.  How do those that utilize social media sites feel about ads?  According to studies many find them annoying and intrusive at best.  According to eMarketer, a marketing research firm, social networking revenues rose an extremely modest 4% last year.   Click through rates on Facebook and others sites are minuscule compared to those on Google.  Because of that, many companies choose to have a presence on social media sites, but only a small fraction choose to buy ads.  But in order for social media sites to thrive and come of age as business sites and marketing avenues that can compete with traditional media outlets such as TV and print publications, they need to attract advertising revenue.    To be sure many large corporations are giving social media ads a shot.  But it&#8217;s a slow build.  The very quality that makes social media sites so attractive, the free flow of content, is precisely what makes advertisers so very cautious. </p>
